I’m Jess — the stylist behind LaRoux Locks, formerly known as jelvinhair. Fourteen years in, I still get a little thrill handing someone the mirror at the end.
Hair has been my craft for well over a decade. I came up styling, cutting and colouring under the name jelvinhair, and over the years I found my real home in bridal — the early starts, the nerves, the quiet moment before someone sees themselves ready. There’s nothing quite like it.
Today, as LaRoux Locks, I work across it all: bridal and occasion styling, precision cuts and restyles, highlights and balayage, and micro-ring extensions. Whatever you’re booking, I go into detail with exactly what you want, keep you comfortable from start to finish, and aim to leave you feeling completely yourself.
